Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you and Write my Copy ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our website and services.
By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our website or use our services.
Services
Write my Copy provides copywriting, branding, content outreach, and digital PR services. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for any project will be outlined in a separate proposal or statement of work agreed upon by both parties before work commences.
Client Responsibilities
When engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information as required for the project
- Respond to requests for feedback or approval within reasonable timeframes
- Ensure you have the rights to use any materials you provide to us
- Make timely payments as outlined in the agreed proposal
- Not use our services for any unlawful purposes
Intellectual Property
Our Work Product: Upon full payment of all fees, you will own all rights to the final deliverables created specifically for your project. Prior to full payment, all work remains the property of Write my Copy.
Pre-existing Materials: Any pre-existing materials, tools, processes, or methodologies that we bring to the project remain our intellectual property.
Portfolio Rights: We reserve the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment Terms
Payment terms will be specified in your project proposal. Unless otherwise agreed:
- A deposit of 50% is required before work begins
- The remaining balance is due upon project completion
- Invoices are payable within 14 days of receipt
- Late payments may incur interest at 1.5% per month
Revisions and Changes
Our proposals include a specified number of revision rounds. Additional revisions beyond this scope will be quoted separately. Significant changes to project scope after work has begun may require a revised proposal and timeline.
Confidentiality
We agree to keep confidential any proprietary information shared with us during the course of a project. This obligation survives the termination of any engagement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Write my Copy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us for the relevant services.
Termination
Either party may terminate a project engagement with 14 days written notice. In the event of termination:
- You will pay for all work completed up to the termination date
- We will provide all completed work product upon payment
- Any unused deposit may be refunded on a pro-rata basis at our discretion
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
